I am here to discuss X TV, not X\1999, but X TV, the anime that was remastered from the original 1999 release. Rather than a few hours covering the story, they took the full 24 episodes to cover more of what the original was missing on. This has got to be one of my favorite anime of all time, the story is epic, the character's stories are moving, and I just love how it all comes together as you watch."His destiny has finally arrived as the young Shirou Kamui returns to Tokyo after 6 years. A powerful psychic, Kamui vows to protect the happiness of his childhood friends Fuuma and Kotori, even if it means avoiding them. There are not many good trailers or amv I could post that didn't spoil the story, but this top video is good enough to show some of the things you can expect from this anime.I would recommend anyone that loves a type of action packed, modern fantasy style animes to try this one out. Funimation now owns this anime and has it on youtube (not all of it yet) to watch as well as a complete box set....FINALLY A DAMN BOX SET, been waiting over 6 years for that to happen.If you have already watched this all and enjoyed it, feel free to talk about it here, but no spoilers please.
I've tried to get started in the clamp universe before, but I've always gotten tripped up. I mean I've tried watching X/1999 three times now, but I've been extremely tired every time I've tried watching and just ended up falling asleep 5 minutes in and giving up. It's quite sad really. I know it's a good story, but I just have never had time to really get into it.
See your trying to watch x/1999 not the tv series, that alone is your problem. Watch the tv series cause it is way more indepth and covers more of the story. Or watch both? I didnt like x/1999 very much compared to the tv series.
